Celia's current employment where she provides counseling services for Native children and adolescents. In her role, she collaborates within systems to effectively address clinical needs. Notably, Celia has developed culturally relevant curricula and support groups that cater to the therapeutic needs of her clients. Celia integrates cultural values, traditions, and practices into therapy to ensure that counseling approaches are respectful and relevant to the client's cultural background.

Driven by her dedication to the counseling field, Celia has contributed as an adjunct professor at Multnomah University. She has taught on classes that includes courses on counseling ethics and diversity, where she imparts invaluable insights to future counselors. PATHWAYS TO HEALING: MISSING AND MURDERED INDIGENOUS WOMEN LIVE EVENT
In observance of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Awareness Day in 2021, Celia participated in a live webinar training. During this event, she engaged in dialogue with activists, offering her perspective on the mental health implications of MMIW and its broader impact on Indigenous communities. She added to the conversation, sharing her knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on the MMIW awareness and support.
THREE RIVERS ETHICS CONFERENCE
As a panelist speaker at the 2020 Three Rivers Ethics Conference, Celia had the opportunity to share her insights on a pressing issue: the impact of land rights on the mental health of Indigenous communities. Her contribution shed light on a crucial intersection of social justice and mental well-being. Her contribution deepened the audience's comprehension of water rights and their implications for mental health.
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH INTERTRIBAL CONFERENCE PRESENTER
Celia was honored to be selected as a breakout facilitator at the 2022 Intertribal Conference organized by the Department of Health. During her session, she shared insights on how to effectively engage Native clients through culturally relevant practices. Celia showcased her culturally relevant curriculum, "All My Relations," demonstrating its impact on fostering meaningful connections and healing within Indigenous communities.
LOCAL INDIAN CHILD WELFARE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER
Celia sits on the local Indian Child Welfare Advisory Committee (LICWAC). As a LIWAC member, Celia advocates for the needs of Native children in the foster care system.
POSITIVE INDIAN PARENTING GROUP FACILITATOR
Celia has successfully been a co-facilitator of parenting classes using Native curriculum that addresses cultural needs of healing in the family unit.
DOOR TO GRACE VOLUNTEER
Celia was sought by Door to Grace, a non-profit agency that meets the needs of women in the sex trafficking life, to create a volunteer training curriculum. Celia was also requested to review and develop a nationally approved curriculum for foster parents on the topics of sex trafficking.

Celia obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling degree in 2014 where she developed skills to engage in the counseling profession.

Celia obtained her Master of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2012. She engaged in creating studies, reviewing texts, and critical thinking skills.

Celia obtained her bachelor of arts in Philosophy in 2009. Here, Celia learned to engage in critical analysis of philosophical texts.
